VAR goes down during Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest after emergency at Stockley Park
A fire alarm going off at Stockley Park caused VAR to be halted during Tottenham’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest. Once the players emerged back out of the tunnel after half-time, viewers on Sky Sports were informed that VAR would not be operational due to an emergency inside the VAR hub.
VAR officials likely had to evacuate their area while the match resumed, as Spurs trailed 2-0 to Forest in another abject 45 minutes for Ange Postecoglou’s outfit.
