Under-fire Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou is expected to make changes for the visit of rock-bottom Southampton, with the first leg of Spurs’ crucial Europa League quarter-final against Eintracht Frankfurt to follow on Thursday night.
Micky van de Ven, Heung-min Son and James Maddison are likely to be rested, while Djed Spence could also be saved for the German side after a recent bout of illness.
Son could be replaced by Brennan Johnson or Mathys Tel in the front three, although Mikey Moore is also pushing for minutes and Richarlison is set to return to the squad after a muscle injury.
