Ange Postecoglou blamed “unusual” individual errors as Tottenham slumped to a 17th league defeat of the season against Wolves, going down 4-2 at Molineux.
Guglielmo Vicario was at fault as Wolves scored twice in the first half, the goalkeeper flapping at crosses ahead of Ryan Ait-Nouri’s opener in the second minute and a Djed Spence own goal.
Asked if he had confidence that Vicario would recover for the Frankfurt game, Postecoglou said: “Yeah, 100 per cent confidence.
