Snooker star makes history with two 147s in World Championship qualifier and lands £147k

Snooker star Jackson Page potted two maximum breaks in his history-making World Championship qualifier against Allan Taylor. The 23-year-old had never hit a 147 in his career before beating Taylor. 

Nobody had ever hit two maximum breaks in the same match at any tournament on record. Page will bank the £147,000 prize for hitting two maximum breaks in snooker’s major championships. His prize could rise to £172k with the £10k bonus for a 147 in the World Championship qualifiers and a £15k bonus if his break ends up being the highest in the entire tournament.
