Snooker LIVE: Ronnie O’Sullivan given ‘worst possible draw’ as star issues apology

We’re just one day away from the start of this year’s World Snooker Championship, with anticipation ahead of the event beginning to bubble. Ronnie O’Sullivan has confirmed he intends to compete at the Crucible, having last been seen in competitive action back in mid-January. 

O’Sullivan’s quest for an eighth World Championship crown might’ve been dealt an early setback following the main draw earlier this week, with the Rocket and his opponent sharing plenty of colourful history. Elsewhere, Kyren Wilson is vying to become the first player since Mark Selby in 2017 to retain the title as reigning champion.
