Sam Long on winning goal for Oxford United at Hillsborough
SAM Long returned to the ground he suffered a serious ankle injury almost 10 years ago, to grab what could be a pivotal goal in Oxford United’s quest for Sky Bet Championship safety.
The Bicester-born defender, who graduated through the U’s academy, missed more than three months of first team football after he suffered an ankle ligament injury in an EFL Cup tie at Sheffield Wednesday in August 2015.
