Rory McIlroy needed Colin Morikawa intervention after nearly letting golf ball secret out

Rory McIlroy had to be ‘shushed’ by rival Colin Morikawa while the pair played alongside each other at this year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The Northern Irishman won the event in February following a stunning final round of 66.
That formed part of his preparation for his dramatic victory at the Masters this month. However, he had to endure an awkward moment in California after one sublime chip shot. He played the shot using the TaylorMade TP5X ball and then made a comment that prompted a warning from the American.
