Pep Guardiola admitted he was unsure how serious Ederson’s injury was after the Manchester City goalkeeper was forced off against Crystal Palace.
The Brazilian produced a brilliant assist for City’s fourth goal in the 5-2 win, clipping a ball over the top of the Palace and into the path of James McAtee, who went round Dean Henderson and finished into the empty net.
Ederson now has seven Premier League assists to his name during his time in England, two more than any other goalkeeper has managed.
