Oxford United CEO: Kassam Stadium preferable to groundsharing

OXFORD United chief executive Tim Williams says his preference would be to stay at the Kassam Stadium rather than groundsharing in the period while a proposed new stadium is built, although neither option is ‘particularly attractive’.

The U’s submitted a planning application to Cherwell District Council for a 16,000-capacity ground at The Triangle, south of Kidlington Roundabout, at the end of February 2024.
