Obituary: Former Witney & District FA secretary Ted Young
Ted Young was my father, and after his death, I both wanted and needed to write a eulogy to read out at his funeral, and to write his obituary.
I began by reading his own personal history notes on his laptop and was astonished to learn that even before I was born, he had lived and accrued a whole lifetime’s worth of experiences before then – a lifetime dominated by World War II, and much of which I knew nothing about.
