Novak Djokovic has extended his support to Argentine tennis player Federico Gomez, who recently opened up about battling ‘suicidal thoughts.’ Gomez shared his struggles with mental health, aiming to raise awareness and encourage others to speak up.

Novak Djokovic has sent a message of support to Federico Gomez after the Argentine tennis player recently opened up about experiencing “suicidal thoughts” and not wanting to “to live anymore”.

Djokovic posted a message of support on his Instagram account. “Strength friend. There is always light at the end of the tunnel,” the 24-time Grand Slam winner Djokovic wrote on his Instagram Story.

World No. 135, Federico Gomez, won his first title on the ATP Challenger Tour in 2024. The 28-year-old had been forced to work as a coach for multiple years to make ends meet.
