LEAD ARTIST is taken to hog the limelight in the Group 2 bet365 Mile (3.00, Nap) at Sandown on Friday. The John and Thady Gosden-trained son of Dubawi didn’t race as a juvenile but made great strides at three in 2024. Successful in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Stakes at Glorious Goodwood in August, Kieran Shoemark’s mount defied a penalty in the same-level Darley Stakes at Newmarket in October, and should have more to offer this season.
