Newsboy’s horseracing tips for Wednesday’s four meetings, including Ludlow Nap

Newsboy fancies his nap, D Day Arvalenreeva, to win at Ludlow and also hopes Balgowan can score at Southwell and complete his Daily Double
D DAY ARVALENREEVA should defy a 7lb penalty for an easy win at Market Rasen a week ago as she takes on five rivals for the Weatherbys Hamilton Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (4.15) at Ludlow on Wednesday. The winner of one of her 16 starts on the Flat, Kevin Philippart de Foy’s daughter of Mastercraftsman made the frame at Uttoxeter and Wincanton on her first two attempts over hurdles. D Day Arvalenreeva made her handicap debut against three opponents in South Lincolnshire last Wednesday, going off at 13-2. Evidently benefiting from the opportunity to tackle faster ground, D Day Arvalenreeva and Jack Quinlan scooted away to humble Feet On The Ground by 12 lengths.
