Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe was admitted to hospital on Friday and will miss Sunday’s clash with Manchester United as a result.
Howe was absent for media duties on Friday, having been struck down by the an unspecified illness, and was replaced by assistant coach Jason Tindall.
