Michael van Gerwen refuses to represent Netherlands at World Cup and may not play again
Michael van Gerwen has revealed that he will not represent the Netherlands at the World Cup of Darts. The three-time world champion is instead set to enjoy a ‘holiday’ whilst the competition unfolds.
Van Gerwen has struggled with form and injuries so far this season, but his sensational victory at the German Darts Grand Prix highlighted how great of a force the world No. 3 can be. The 35-year-old impressed when beating fellow Dutchman Gian van Veen in the final.
