Mercedes regret George Russell decision after snubbing Max Verstappen approach
George Russell has started the 2025 Formula 1 season very strongly but his Japanese Grand Prix could have been much better had Mercedes done what Red Bull did with Max Verstappen
Mercedes have admitted they regret not taking the same path as Max Verstappen at last weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix. The Dutchman secured his first victory of the year at Suzuka, while George Russell continued a consistent start to the season in fifth place.
