Masters weather: Forecast for Augusta as storms disrupt practice rounds

Competitors and spectators are now set for a week of mostly clear weather ahead of the 89th Masters tournament.
Weather is always a factor at the Masters, with at least one session being suspended in each of the last six editions of the competition, and this year is no different. Rain has already disrupted the event as thunderstorms hit during Monday morning’s practice rounds, ending the day’s proceedings just three hours after the course had opened as lightning remained in the area through the afternoon.
