Masters fans to get refunds after Augusta evacuated during practice round

Masters fans who faced disappointment due to bad weather cutting their viewing time will be refunded, the tournament chiefs have confirmed. After evacuating Augusta National at 11.25am on Monday due to anticipated scattered afternoon storms and persistent rain, officials by 3pm announced there’d be no reopening for the day.

In a statement released by the club, it was outlined: “Purchasers of Monday practice round tickets will be sent refunds in May and will be guaranteed the opportunity to purchase 2026 Monday practice round tickets. Further information will be included at the time of the refund.”
