Rory McIlroy takes a two-shot lead into Sunday at Augusta after another stunning display, scoring six-under on the day to sit top of the leaderboard and just 18 holes from history. McIlroy, the best player on the planet on form, is vying to win the Masters for the first time and become just the sixth player to ever complete a career grand slam.
His big rival is Bryson DeChambeau, who sunk an incredible 48-foot putt on the 18th to finish two shots back. It was these two at the top of the US Open leaderboard last year, only for McIlroy to fluff his lines spectacularly to allow the American to claim victory. That will surely be on both players’ minds as they head to the first tee this evening.
