Mary Kom living separately from husband Onler, divorce on cards after alleged affair with business partner: Report

Mary Kom and her husband Onler are reportedly heading for a divorce. As per a report, the couple has been living separately due to financial strain caused by Onler’s election loss and Mary’s alleged relationship with her business partner.

Rumours surrounding a possible separation between Indian boxing legend Mary Kom and her husband Karung Onkholer, also known as Onler, have sparked widespread speculation. While no official statement has been made by the couple, a recent report suggests that the two have been living apart for a while now, hinting at potential trouble in their marriage.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the strain in their relationship reportedly began after Onler’s defeat in the 2022 Manipur Assembly Elections. The couple is said to have spent an estimated Rs 2 to 3 crore during the campaign, a financial setback that allegedly left both distressed. A source close to the family revealed that Mary was deeply upset about the election result and the monetary loss.

“Mary moved to Faridabad with their four children, while Onler has been living in Delhi with some family members. Their differences escalated after the elections. Mary was reportedly unhappy about the financial losses and the fact that he lost,” a source close to Mary and Onler told Hindustan Times.
