Marcus Rashford is set for crunch talks with Ruben Amorim upon his potential return to Manchester United this summer ahead of their US pre-season tour, if Aston Villa decide against taking up their option to buy. Currently on-loan at Aston Villa after clashing with Amorim, Rashford was dropped from the squad leading to his temporary exit. His loan spell ends in June, shortly before the Red Devils jet off to America to ramp up preparations for the impending season.

While Villa has a £40million option to buy, it’s up in the air whether they will seal a permanent move for the England striker. Should Villa pass on the offer, Rashford would go back to Old Trafford, his future hanging in the balance. United stand ready to part ways with Rashford if a buyer emerges before the end of July; otherwise, he’ll be expected to join the summer touring party, according to the Daily Star.
