Manchester United XI vs Lyon: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, injury latest for Europa League

Manchester United could welcome Kobbie Mainoo back from injury as they take on Lyon in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

Mainoo has been sidelined with a calf injury for two months, but has this week returned to training ahead of the trip to France. It is unlikely he will start, but an involvement off the bench has not been ruled out.

Mount is also unlikely to start in France, but the frustrating form of Alejandro Garnacho will be a concern for manager Ruben Amorim. It’s a toss up between Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, though the latter started the derby so the former could come in.
