Manchester City launched a probe into striker Erling Haaland after he hit the football club’s mascot, leaving her in hospital with suspected whiplash and concussion.

According to The Sun, the woman who portrays Manchester City’s mascot “Moonbeam” has accused Premier League officials of a “cover up” after being ‘playfully’ struck on the back of the head by the 6ft 4in striker before a recent match.
