Man Utd star sends Ruben Amorim subtle plea as Red Devils struck by fresh injury

Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has indirectly told Ruben Amorim that he’s ready to fill the void left behind by Diogo Dalot’s ill-timed injury. The Portuguese right-back’s availability has been one of his best traits in recent years, but he looks set to miss the remainder of the season after picking up a calf problem.

On Friday, Amorim confirmed Dalot’s spell on the sidelines, which leaves him with a dilemma to fill the right-wing-back position over the final few weeks of the campaign. Patrick Dorgu played on the right as Dalot rested against Wolves last time out, allowing Harry Amass to make his first Old Trafford start on the opposite flank. Amad is also closing in on a return from his three-month injury absence, but Mazraoui has, too, operated in the position.
