Man Utd fan arrested after ‘slapping Jack Grealish’ as police charge man with assault

A man has been arrested after allegedly ‘slapping Jack Grealish in the face’ following Sunday’s Manchester Derby at Old Trafford. The England international had been involved in the goalless draw between Manchester City and Manchester United.

Grealish came off the bench for City in the 74th minute of the match, replacing Ilkay Gundogan. The former Aston Villa ace wasn’t able to inspire City to a win against their local rivals, with the game finishing 0-0. However, it was after the full-time whistle when the incident with a member of the crowd took place.
