Manchester City could have Phil Foden and Manuel Akanji back for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Everton, though Ederson is out.
The soon-to-be-deposed champions head to Goodison Park this weekend looking for successive wins in the race for a top-five finish and Champions League qualification for next season after following up a drab Manchester derby stalemate at Old Trafford by bouncing back from an early two-goal deficit to hit five at home to Crystal Palace.
“[He’s] not ready for tomorrow,” Guardiola said on Ederson at his pre-Everton press conference on Friday. “I don’t know [when he will be available]. For the game he is not ready.”
