De Bruyne leaves the club after 10 years with 16 major titles under his belt

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said Kevin De Bruyne is among the Premier League’s greatest midfielders after the Belgian announced his decision to leave the club at the end of this season.

De Bruyne, 33, signed to City from Wolfsburg in 2015, winning the Champions League, six Premier League titles, and a raft of other honours.

He said: “[De Bruyne] gave us all his humanity and of course, his influence in our success in the last decade. That would not have been possible without him. It is hard for us, his leaving.
