Luke Humphries snaps back at ‘wally’ on social media after Luke Littler thrashing
World No.1 Luke Humphries issued a scathing response to a darts fan on social media who argued the star was already past his prime. Humphries reached the final of the latest Premier League meeting in Newcastle on Thursday, only to be hammered 6-1 by rival Luke Littler.
That followed his first-round exit to Michael van Gerwen in Cardiff the previous week. The 30-year-old still has two nightly wins to his name this season though, and lies second in the overall table on 18 points. That leaves him five clear of Van Gerwen in third, and odds-on to again be at finals night after finishing runner-up to Littler in 2024.
