Trent Alexander-Arnold came off the bench to score the winner as Liverpool took a step closer to winning the Premier League title as Leicester were relegated.
The Reds dominated proceedings at the King Power Stadium but found a goalkeeper in inspired form in Mads Hermansen, until Alexander-Arnold scored around 14 minutes from time having only minutes earlier replaced Conor Bradley.
Liverpool could have wrapped up a record-equalling 20th English top-flight crown had Ipswich Town beaten Arsenal earlier, but it remains a formality.
