Judd Trump not happy with conditions at World Snooker Championship as he speaks out

Judd Trump has declared his dissatisfaction with playing conditions at the Crucible – despite a dominant first-round victory. The world No.1 racked up four centuries in five frames as he turned a 6-3 overnight advantage into a 10-4 win over China’s Zhou Yuelong at the World Championship.

It was an impressive start for Trump, who is looking to add to the sole world title he won back in 2019. And with Kyren Wilson suffering a shock first-round defeat to Lei Peifan and other big names falling early, he is many people’s favourite to go all the way in Sheffield. However, it wasn’t as comfortable as it looked for Trump, who has complained about conditions inside the Sheffield venue, claiming they are “not great for snooker”.
