Ipswich Witches thrash Oxford Spires in Premiership
OXFORD Spires were thrashed 65-25 in their Premiership meeting at Ipswich Witches, in what was the heaviest defeat for an Oxford side since speedway returned to Cowley in 2022.
Spires were missing Erik Riss due to a shoulder injury, and it is hoped he will be fit for Monday’s away clash with Belle Vue Aces, while Peter Kildemand was still ruled out do to nerve damage to his back.
