Gunners bid to delay Liverpool title party as they return to action after Bernabeu heroics
After the high of Madrid on Wednesday, Arsenal return to Premier League action when they play Ipswich at Portman Road. The Champions League is clearly the priority for the Gunners from here on in but Mikel Arteta will want to keep momentum going before the first leg of their semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain in two weeks’ time.
Defeat for Arsenal against Ipswich could see Liverpool crowned champions later this afternoon if Arne Slot’s leaders then go on and beat Leicester. Arteta will want to delay the Liverpool title party but, after the herculean shift his side put in at the Bernabeu in midweek, he could rest some key players like Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice.
