History-making Atherton LR are incredible treble winners
Atherton LR capped off what was already an exceptional season with a third trophy to their cabinet after overcoming South Division’s Stafford Town 3-0 in the Edward Case Cup final on Easter Monday.
Goals by Ryan Talbot and a double by Cal Hunter saw LR create history by winning their first ever Edward Case Cup in emphatic style to complete a remarkable treble after winning the NWCFL First Division North title and the Champions Cup – last Saturday.
