A Grand National punter has left bookmakers in disbelief after pocketing a staggering £61,320.32 in the world’s most famous race last Saturday. Trainer Willie Mullins achieved an incredible 1-2-3 finish at Aintree as Nick Rockett soared to victory at 33/1 under Willie’s son Patrick for owner Stewart Andrew.

Defending champion I Am Maximus crossed the line in second at 7/1, and Grangeclare West completed a glorious trifecta by finishing third at 33/1. Mullins would’ve felt on top of the horse racing world after the roaring success in the 34-runner 4m2f showcase, but he wouldn’t have been on a greater high than one lucky, or genius, punter. A Ladbrokes customer landed an outlandish bet worth a total of £48 to take home £61,320.32, leaving the bookies astounded.
