Grand National fans distraught after Broadway Boy’s horror fall while leading race

Grand National fans were left distraught after witnessing the horror fall of Broadway Boy who had been leading the race. The horse was leading for the majority of the race before taking a nasty tumble at one of the hurdles. An update came around an hour after the race confirming that Broadway Boy walked into a horse ambulance and was taken to his stable for further assessment. The horse tumbled three quarters of the way into the race after performing well up until then.
Jockey Tom Bellamy came tumbling off Broadway Boy, who is owned by owned by Nigel Twiston-Davies, but seemingly landed on his knees. The camera cut away from the horse before viewers could make out if it was okay after the horror fall. People have been taking to social media to share their reactions after witnessing the horrendous accident, with many expressing concern for the animal.
