Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour Paris LIVE: The Paris leg of the Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour 2025 starts on Monday with 12 Grandmasters including Magnus Carlsen, D Gukesh and three other chess stars from India. Hans Niemann has withdrawn from the tournament.
Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour Paris LIVE Updates: The second leg of the Freestyle Chess Tour kicks off today (7 April) in Paris with the round-robin phase. Six matches will take place today. The Paris leg of the event will involve 12 Grandmasters including Magnus Carlsen, D Gukesh, Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana. Besides Gukesh, India’s Arjun Erigaisi, R Praggnanandhaa and Vidith Gujrathi are also part of the tournament. Hans Niemann will not be taking part in the Freestyle Chess Paris leg after pulling out at the last minute.
