F1 LIVE: Lewis Hamilton waits on huge Ferrari decision as drivers argue
The stage is set for the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend with Max Verstappen now just a point behind leader Lando Norris in the drivers’ standings. Despite a difficult start to the season for Red Bull, the reigning world champion showed all his qualities in Japan to take the chequered flag and banish doubts over his challenge for a fifth straight title.
However, elsewhere the problems are mounting for Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari. He’s already languishing in eighth place overall following his huge move from Mercedes, with his hopes of an historic eighth world crown with the Scuderia already fading.
