F1 LIVE: Lando Norris calls out Max Verstappen as George Russell makes bold FIA statement
Max Verstappen is hoping to make it back-to-back wins at the Bahrain Grand Prix after kickstarting his season in Japan last time out. The reigning world champion is only a point behind early leader Lando Norris in the standings and will have momentum behind him heading into this weekend’s race. Once again, he will need to fend off the challenge of McLaren, who are desperate to get back to winning ways.
There have been three different victors in as many Grand Prix weekends in 2025, with the season shaping up to be a very close affair. The likes of George Russell, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be hoping to avoid slipping too far adrift of the championship leaders by getting in on the act themselves. However, it looks like will be tough for anybody to beat McLaren over 57 laps at the Bahrain International Circuit.
