Erling Haaland injury: Pep Guardiola confirms new return timeline in fresh Man City blow

Manchester City expect Erling Haaland to be out of action for between “five and seven weeks”, according to Pep Guardiola.
The striker has been ruled out for a number of weeks with an ankle injury sustained over the weekend during the win over Bournemouth in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Haaland collided with Lewis Cook, attempted to continue playing but was soon forced off.
The new timeline rules Haaland out of the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest, scheduled for the end of April, and makes him a significant doubt for the FA Cup final, on May 17, should City progress.
