England beat Italy in Six Nations at LNER Community Stadium
England have defeated Italy in the opening game of their Six Nations campaign in York’s LNER Community Stadium.
An ambitious England side took the field as they raised the curtain on a hugely important 2025 campaign. Despite entering the Six Nations as both the world number one and champion six years in a row, both them and the crowd kept one eye on the World Cup – which gets underway in August this year.
