Emma Raducanu replacement chosen after star pulled out of representing Great Britain

The LTA have announced that Jodie Burrage will replace Emma Raduanu after the 2021 US Open winner pulled out of the Billie Jean King Cup. Raducanu was initially included as the British No. 2, but pulled out to focus on a training block instead.

The 22-year-old is fresh off an impressive run to the Miami Open quarter-finals, where she was beaten by eventual runner-up Jessica Pegula. Raducanu had been slated to compete for Great Britain against Germany and the Netherlands in their upcoming BJK Cup matches.
