Elina Svitolina has revealed that she and her husband, ATP veteran Gael Monfils, were both called for an anti-doping test hours after she lifted her 18th career title in Rouen. The tennis power couple jetted straight to Madrid for the upcoming 1000 tournament, where they received an unusual wake-up call.
The world No. 17 took to social media to share a snap after they both underwent doping controls. Tennis players must give their location for an hour every day so that a doping control officer can test them at random, and Svitolina and Monfils both got a random visit on Monday morning.
