Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca believes Moises Caicedo showcased why he is in the conversation for best defensive midfielder in the world with “another great performance” in the win over Tottenham.
Caicedo started and played the full 90 minutes as the Blues claimed all three points – and bragging rights – against their London rivals for a second time this season.
Caicedo was also involved in the second disallowed goal on the night as he was fouled by Pape Matar Sarr prior to the Spurs midfielder finding the back of the net with an effort from range.
