Celebre D’Allen dies days after collapsing during 2025 Grand National

Celebre D’Allen’s heartbroken trainers have confirmed the horse’s death days after he fell in the Grand National. The horse was one of two horses to collapse during the Aintree race. 

Celebre D’Allen was pulled up by his jockey Micheal Nolan, who later received a 10-day suspension for continuing to ride when the horse clearly had no more to give. The 13-year-old then collapsed, prompting urgent vetinary attention on the course. He later walked into a horse box but has now died after his condition ‘deteriorated significantly’ on Monday night.
