Carlo Ancelotti tax evasion trial begins in Spain as Real Madrid coach faces fraud charges

Carlo Ancelotti will appear in court on Wednesday to stand trial on charges of defrauding Spain’s tax office of more than €1m (£836,857).
The Real Madrid head coach is accused of not declaring image rights in 2014 and 2015.
The prosecutor is seeking a prison term of four years and nine months and a fine of 3.2 million euros for two counts of tax evasion in 2014 and 2015.
