McLaren were chasing their first ever Bahrain Grand Prix victory with Oscar Piastri on pole and Lando Norris keen to make up for a poor qualifying by moving forward from sixth
Oscar Piastri took a chunk out of Lando Norris’ championship advantage with a dominant win at the Bahrain Grand Prix. While the Australian barely had to break sweat to secure a pole-to-flag victory, his team-mate in the other McLaren struggled for pace in traffic having started down in sixth.
