La Liga leaders Barcelona will look to book their place in the Copa del Rey final tonight as they visit Atletico Madrid for the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie.
The first leg was not short on action, finishing 4-4. Atletico were quick out of the gates, racing to a two-goal lead before conceding four unanswered, the visitors ultimately equalising through Alexander Sorloth in the 93rd minute.
Former Chelsea man and Cobham academy graduate Conor Gallagher has been a fixture in Diego Simeone’s starting lineups for much of this season but has been dropped in recent matches, starting just one of Atletico’s last six La Liga matches. He has appeared in each of Atletico’s six Copa del Rey matches, though, starting four times and bagging two assists. He played the first hour of the first leg against Barcelona.
