Atherton LR secured a trophy double after picking up the Champions Cup in Cheshire following a 3-2 win against Winsford United on Saturday.
The fixture was fought between the winners of the NWCFL First Division North and First Division South and played at the ground of the team who had secured more points over the season, this being Winsford.
