A&T Cycle Speedway star Emily wins national meeting
Astley and Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club rider Emily Burgess won the British Women’s Cycle Speedway League 15th Anniversary meeting at Wednesfield, Wolverhampton last Saturday.
Emily won all her qualifying heats, before taking victory in the ‘A’ final, ahead of Ipswich’s Lily Parr and Sheffield’s Lizzie Rigley, to go through the day unbeaten.
