Renee Slegers believes that Arsenal reaching the Champions League final is a reward for the club’s continued investment in the women’s team.
Arsenal booked a place in next month’s final in Lisbon by beating Lyon 4-1 in the second leg of their eventful last-four tie on Sunday.
Arsenal will now face Barcelona in the final at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on May 24 and head coach Slegers believes it is a just reward for the club given their investment in the women’s team.
